The artwork is entitled “Nuevos Rumbos“ (New Paths). It consists of a main character that holds a compass pointing Southwest, the direction that our italian grandparents (o puoi lasciare “nonos” invece di Italian grandparents, che ormai è una parola che si capisce ed ha qualcosa di speciale) took, to start a new life and enrich our land with their cultural heritage. Today, we return to our ancestor’s land. The mixing of races creates a new culture, the mixing of pigments make a new color.
