This work has no title. He doesn’t like to influence the viewers with a title, so they can make their own interpretation of what they see. Since this artwork was meant to be seen from above, he decided to do a big white cloud, hiding the roof. Colours and characters appear from a hole in the cloud, interacting (as I usually do). In this case, this interaction is on a bigger scale, since it’s meant to be seen from far away. Unlike other murals he has done, for technical reasons, hebarely used spray-painting on this one.
Hosh was born in Ibiza, where he started graffiti-painting in 1991. Driven by his interest in art, in 1996 he relocated to Barcelone, where he studied Fine Arts. His artwork has made him travel abroad extensively. He has done several interventions of public spaces in New York, Brazil, Germany, Sweden, France, and Belgium, among others. He has also exhibited his work in Ibiza, Barcelone, Madrid and London, and has worked in participatory art projects and workshops in Brazil, Italy and New York. In addition, he has developed art projects with several brands, such as Carolina Herrera, San Miguel, Nespresso, Museo del Rock, Ushuaia Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza, Möet Chandon.His work is characterized by being visually simple and effective. The use of contrasts, vivid colours and characters, as well as the intervention with LED circuits, are his distinguishing features. Nowadays, he lives and works in Ibiza.
