This work wants to make reference to the family, the mother but especially the women. Eva represents the woman who works, who is free and autonomous, a modern woman far from the traditional concept of housewife, submissive and imprisoned woman. Through her particular form of painting, the artist highlights the feminist struggle and honors women who have given their lives to defend their autonomy and complete freedom.
Painter, tattoo artist and illustrator. Lives and works in Zaragoza. Chikita studied Fine Arts at the University of Castilla La Mancha. Her artistic way has been joined to graffiti. In her work, she usually shows characters and environments in connection with the viewer to transmit or to generate a sensation. The need to do pursues her, slowly, creating images of simple sensations. Her work is not about transcendental issues, but it talks about something important. Chikita is a multidisciplinary artist adaptable to all kinds of proposals. In her work, she uses different techniques: die cut wood, serigraphs, tattoos, canvas, cloth sewn dolls, sculptures. The new artistic experiences for her are a challenge. She has two passions: to create and to travel.
